COLLEGE OF HEALTH, YAMFO
SANDWICH INFORMATION FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR
 
Post Basic applicants with the relevant diploma or certificate qualifications can apply to pursue a sandwich degree programme in any of the following three (3) Bachelor of Science programmes:
     1. BSc. Community Mental Health  
     2. BSc. Community Health Nutrition
     3. BSc. Health Information Management

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR DIPLOMA/HND HOLDERS
Diploma in Technical Officer (Community Health-Disease Control & Surveillance Option,
Community Health-Nutrition Option, Health Information Management and Health Promotion and
Social Marketing Option. Community Mental Health), Registered Community Health Nursing,
Registered Mental Nursing and Registered General Nursing & HND in Biostatistics, and Diploma in Environmental Health.  

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE HOLDERS
i. WASSCE) with credits (C6 or better) in the three Core subjects or (SSSCE) with credits (D or better) in the 3 Core subjects
ii. WASSCE) without credits (C6 or better) in the three Core subjects or (SSSCE) without credits (D or better) in the 3 Core subjects
Interested applicants must have a Certificate in Field Technician, Nurse Assistant, Preventive (NAP),
Community Health Nursing, Nurse Assistant Clinical (NAC), Health Records Assistant and Environmental Health. Applicants with Certificates who fall in the (ii) category will have to pass an Access examination jointly conducted by the University of Cape Coast and College of Health, Yamfo.

ENTRY POINTS
Please note that successful Diploma Applicants will enroll at Level 300 & successful Certificate Applicants will enroll at Level 200.
